English: Track from Carn Ffoi towards Trefdraeth/ Newport The foreground is the open mountain; below, the top fields enclosed for rough grazing; walled lanes wind up, down and along the hillside.
Newport Bay shows the effect of recent rainstorms where the sea is coloured brown from disturbance of the seabed and soil-laden water flowing from inland. The advice now is to avoid sea bathing in these conditions for fear of contamination by agricultural chemicals. |
