English: Track between Balerno and Nine Mile Burn This old track is now a popular walking route through the Pentlands, giving access to West Kip (551 metres), the hill shown in the photo. Just south of this point, there is a choice of routes to Nine Mile Burn. The eastern route goes via Braid Law, while the western one, the old "Monks Road", heads over Cap Law and passes the Font Stone. |
