English: Track beside Kirkhirst Plantation Kirkhirst Plantation is a small area of mixed woodland, including rhododendrons, near Castle Loch. The footpath goes from the A702 Lockerbie - Dumfries road to the B7020, passing close to Lochmaben Castle. It is occasionally impassable in places when the loch floods. |
