Description
English: Notice in Turkish I roughly translated and condensed. Hacı Hakkı Baba, born in 1795 in the Akcaabat district of Trabzon. He is from the Qadiri Sect and one of the Chief Muezzins of Sultan Abdul Aziz. During the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid, the Sultan of the period, he had this Mosque and Tomb built in the 1880s, with the help of 900 gold coins from the treasury. Rumor has it that he died in 1883 during a morning prayer at the Pazarkapı Mosque. He was buried at the feet of Ahi Evren Dede upon his will. It is said that the graves of women on both sides belong to daughters or followers.
