The rock carving sites of Norrköping are concentrated to the area around the river Motala ström (2 x 5 km), which was suitable for settlement during the Bronze Age (c 1800-500 BC). A rock carving – a stone with cup marks on both sides – outside the Town Library in Norrköping, where it has been since 1922, when they found it the year before in Tråbrunna, Östra Eneby in Norrköping.
