Description

Nachbildung des vollständigen Antriebsstrang des Toyota Prius 4 (XW50). Beim Toyota Hybridantrieb wird der Verbrennungsmotor (ICE - internal combustion engine; beim Prius 4 72 kW) durch einen Elektromotor (MG2 - Motor-Generator, hier 53 kw) unterstützt. Ein weiterer Elektromotor (MG 1, hier 23 kW) dient überwiegend als Generator. Das Power Split Device (PSD) genannte Planetengetriebe kann dank der drei Motoren die Übersetzung zwischen ICE und Achsantrieb stufenlos steuern. Eine Kupplung ist nicht erforderlich.
