Summary
[edit]DescriptionToyota Crown.jpg |
Crowns in Australia always had a reputation for being a bit of an old mans car. However like many other old and previously unfashionable Japanese cars they have enjoyed something of a minor resurgence in popularity in some circles. One key advantage of the Crown, apart from its hardy drivetrain, is they are still relatively easy to find (compared to other old Japanese cars) and are still quite cheap. This knocked around example is perhaps not uncommon for a Crown that has fallen into and still used as a daily (well maybe twice weekly, it is in the city...) beater. Something like this is probably not yet really worth restoring it as anyone who wants a nice pristine Crown could probably find one in some OAPs garage with a little patience. |
