Summary
[edit]DescriptionToyon (Heteromeles arbutifolia) Tree (31892009192).jpg |
A small bush grew in the median near my old home in El Cerrito, northern California. I never thought it would amount to much. Apparently, if it grows long enough, it turns into a tree. The red berries known as Christmas berries are a favorite of birds that forage on them in winter. Next to the Toyon tree is a long abandoned and broken livestock water basin. IMG_20161226_122536082 |
