Title
Toy Dog from Roxby cum Risby
Description
English: Lead alloy.

Toy Dog. Naturalistically solid cast model of a sheepdog with discernible mould lines, probably 1:32 or 54mm scale. The assured modelling may suggest this to be either a Britains' product of the early to mid 20th century (farm figures and animals were manufactured in the period 1900-1914, and remained popular thereafter), or perhaps a later novelty copied from such a figure. Parts of two legs are now lost. Suggested date: Modern, 1900-1960.

Length: 32mm, Height: 24mm, Thickness: 8mm, Weight: 13.10gms.
