English: Photograph of the toy lion and bull in combat (W 8) from Tumulus P, Gordion. The sculpture was excavated in 1956 by a team from the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. The wooden animals from Tumulus P were conserved by the Gordion Furniture Project team (1993-1995) and placed on display in custom-made mounts in 1995.
