| Description |
English: Towpath, Grantham Canal Although this canal is disused it is possible to travel the 30 odd miles from the River Trent to the A1 at Grantham along a well maintained footpath and cycle way along much of the canal's route. This is part of the ongoing restoration project promoted by the Grantham Canal Partnership with the support of British Waterways. The path is bordered by Cow Parsley at this time of year. Later in the season this will be replaced by reed mace and bull rushes. |
