| Description |
English: Tower Hill Bridge, Rochdale Canal, Sowerby Bridge Coroporation Mill is alongside, and the winding hole at the eastern end of navigable water is ahead. Interestingly, Tower Hill, which crosses the bridge here, was originally the lower part of Tuel Lane until its diversion in the 1950s which caused the Tuel Lane blockage. Our old friend the Wainhouse Tower sneaks in on the horizon. |
