| Description |
English: Tower Bridge, London, taken 1968 Historic image of Tower Bridge taken from the north bank of the Thames near the Tower of London. The Thames was very much a working river at this time, see all the cranes on the south bank through the centre of the bridge, and the smoking chimney. The little tower just to the right of the bridge is still there today, but is less prominent with the building which has taken place. What is also very noticeable is now dirty the brickwork of the bridge was in those days. |
