Tovil is 1km south west or upstream of the Archbishops palace, Maidstone in Kent. The Loose Stream flows through the village before it is culverted and joins the River Medway. There are many springs in the area. . Conservation Volunteer on the overflow. Lower Chrisbrook Mill millpond.
