Summary

[edit]
Description The 2017 total eclipse passed directly over the Hartwell Dam, a hydropower dam owned and operated by the Savannah District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Thousands of spectators in boats in the water and onshore surrounding Hartwell Laker witnessed the once-in-a-lifetime event as passing clouds parted in time to see the moon pass in front of the sun.
