Description

Construidas en el siglo IX, las Torres del Oeste de Catoira formaban parte de un castillo conocido como Castellum Honesti, que servía para defender la desembocadura del Río Ulla de los ataques de los piratas normandos.

Towers of Catoira

Built in the ninth century, the Western Towers of Catoira were part of a castle known as Castellum Honesti, which served to defend the mouth of the Ulla River from the attacks of Norman pirates.
