Description

Antiga torre do edifício da cadeia. Situa-se na rua Bernardino de Sousa.

Assenta na parede do castelo junto à antiga porta de entrada da Praça de Armas. Foi dotada no século XIX de uma coroa de ferro que sustenta o sino das horas.

Em 6 de Maio de 1846 a Câmara deliberou que o ordenado da pessoa que tratasse de Relógio, fosse de 10 reis anual.
