Description
Català: Torre de la Calaforra d'Elx, sala daurada. Aquesta sala presenta una rica pintura decorativa que revela la mestria del pintor en la tècnica de la pintura mural.

L'autor de les pintures decoratives de les sales de la planta senyorial, de l'escala i del vestíbul és el muralista Agustí Espí Carbonell (Alcoi 1881 - Madrid 1940), deixeble del pintor Ferran Cabrera Cantó.

En aquesta estança s'observa una rica ornamentació en els paraments, en el cassetonat i en les portes.

La sala és d'inspiració neogòtica, estil característic de l'alta burgesia de l'època. S'hi observa un sòcol que simula ser de fusta i sobre ell una sumptuosa i complexa decoració a manera de guixeria.

Aquesta sala posseeix un xicotet oratori on es celebrava missa diària.
