Description

La torre de Pinós, del segle XIV, està situada al cim d'un turó que domina la ciutat des del nord-est, al costat dels dipòsits d'aigua de la ciutat. És una torre guaita de planta circular, d'uns 4 metres de diàmetre i 10 metres d'alçada, de pedra vista de 65 centímetres de gruix, emmerletada.

Inclosa en el Catàleg de Monuments i Conjunts Artístics de Catalunya, està considerada Bé Cultural d'Interès Nacional. També es recull en les vigents "Normes especials per a la protecció del patrimoni historicoartístic de Granollers", com a element a protegir, i en el pla especial del patrimoni històricoartístic de la ciutat, aprovat de manera inicial, com a element de protecció estricta, és a dir, que cal conservar sense fer-hi modificacions.
