Description

Single-point streetcar switch in Toronto, Canada, on the Spadina line.

Pointe d'aiguillage de tramway. À gauche, on voit l'extrémité de la pointe se mouvant dans une gorge élargie. La plaque de métal recouvre le solénoïde de manœuvre. Le pivot est la partie ronde, à droite.

Seul le rail extérieur à la courbe déviée comporte une aiguille; l'endroit correspondant, en haut de la photo, ne comporte pas d'aiguille, mais seulement un deuxième cœur d’aiguillage.
