Summary
[edit]DescriptionToronto Streetcar Grand Junction.jpg |
A "grand junction" in Toronto, at the intersection of Spadina and Queen. A streetcar coming from any direction can turn in any other direction. The special trackwork of a grand junction is complex, and must be custom-made to fit the geometry of the intersection. This can be done much more easily with modern computer-controlled machinery. |
