Deutsch: Tornesch – Hafenstraße 9 – Alte Getreidemühle – Baujahr 1913 – Foto: 2009 - Das Mühlengebäude an der Hafenstraße wurde im Jahr 1913 errichtet. Es handelt sich um einen gewinkelten dreigeschossigen Backsteinbau mit flachen Satteldächern. Die Mitte des rechten Gebäudeteils ist neu vermauert, dort fand früher die Einlagerung statt. Mit einem Seilzug wurde die Ware außen hochgezogen. In jedem Geschoss befand sich eine große Ladeluke. - 1952 pachtete Hanns G. Werner das Gebäude und gründete dort eine Süßwarenfabrik. Werner begann mit der Produktion in einem Teilbereich des Baus, der Produktionsbereich wurde dann ständig erweitert. 1968 wurde dazu ein moderner Trakt an die Mühle angebaut. Es folgten weitere Werksgebäude. Das Familienunternehmen mit der Bezeichnung „Werner´s Feine Dragées“ ist heute ein wichtiger Arbeitgeber in Tornesch (Stand 2019).English: Tornesch - Hafenstraße 9 - Old flour mill - built in 1913 - Photo: 2009
- The mill building on Hafenstraße was built in 1913. It is an angled three-storey brick building with flat pitched roofs. The middle of the right part of the building is newly walled, there used to be the storage. With a cable the goods were pulled up outside. On each floor was a large hatch. - In 1952 Hanns G. Werner leased the building and founded a confectionery factory there. Werner began production in a section of the building, the production area was then constantly expanded. In 1968, a modern wing was added to the mill. It was followed by other factory buildings. The family business called "Werner's Fine Dragées" is today an important employer in Tornesch (as of 2019).
