- Das Foto zeigt das Haupthaus des Hofs Clasen (Hof 12, nach Erdbuch von 1788). Es wurde zusammen mit einer freistehenden Reetdachscheune an der Hafenstraße neu errichtet. Den Vorgängerhof an der Halloh hat die Familie aufgegeben, nachdem er niedergebrannt war. Um 1900 hat man dann einen Kuhstall an das Haupthaus angebaut (links im Bild).
- Der abgebildete Wohnteil des Hauses zeigt den sogenannten Niedersachsengiebel. Der Halbwalm läuft nicht bis zum First, sondern trägt an der Spitze einen kleinen Dreiecksgiebel. Er war ursprünglich offen und diente als Eulenloch oder ­– bei Häusern ohne Schornstein ­– als Rauchabzug.

Die Landwirtschaft wurde 1996 aufgegeben.

- The photo shows the main house of the farm Clasen (Hof 12, according to Erdbuch from 1788) It was built together with a freestanding thatched barn on the harbor road. The family abandoned the previous farm at Halloh after it burned down. Around 1900, a cowshed was added to the main house (left in the picture).
- The pictured living part of the house shows the so-called Niedersachsengiebel. The half-whale does not run to the ridge, but carries a small triangular gable at the top. It was originally open and served as an owl hole or - in houses without a chimney - as a flue.

Agriculture was abandoned in 1996.
