Deutsch: Tornesch – Alter Schulweg 7 - ehemalige Schule Esingen – Baujahr: 1835 – Foto: 2018 - Das eingeschossige, reetgedeckte Haus weist in der Mitte einen Zwerchgiebel auf. Es handelt sich um das 1835 errichtete ehemalige Esinger Schulhaus. Es enthielt neben einem Schulzimmer die Lehrerwohnung und Stallungen. Bei einer Erweiterung im Jahr 1888 wurde ein zweiter Klassenraum eingerichtet. Wegen steigender Schülerzahlen hat man das Schulgebäude 1906 zugunsten eines Neubaus an der Esinger Straße aufgegeben. Das alte Gebäude wurde zu Wohnzwecken genutzt. Bei einer Renovierung in den 1980er Jahren erhielt es ein neues Außenmauerwerk und ein neues Reetdach. - The single-storey, thatched-roof house has a gable in the middle. It is the former Esinger schoolhouse built in 1835. It contained the teacher's apartment and stables next to a schoolroom. In an extension in 1888, a second classroom was set up. Due to increasing numbers of students, the school building was abandoned in 1906 in favor of a new building on Esinger Straße. The old building was used for residential purposes. During a renovation in the 1980s, it received a new external masonry and a new thatched roof.
