This is a photograph of an architectural monument. It is on the list of cultural monuments of Tornesch, no. 25130. Deutsch: Tornesch, ehemalige Dorfschule Ahrenlohe (1882/1897), Hörnweg 7, Ansicht von S0 - rechts der Anbau von 1897 - Eingeschossiger Backsteinbau mit ausgebautem Drempelgeschoss über winkelförmigem Grundriss mit zwei Klassenräumen und zwei Lehrerwohnungen, Satteldach; - 1882 errichtet, 1897 erweitert, 1969 wurde der Schulbetrieb eingestellt. 1989 Sanierung; 2017-2018 weitere Sanierung und Umbau zum Kulturzentrum.  Zustand im Jahr 2007 vor der letzten Restaurierung English: Tornesch, former village school Ahrenlohe (1882/1897), Hörnweg 7, view from SE - Single-storey brick building with a built-in drumming floor on an angular floor plan with two classrooms and two teacher's apartments, pitched roof; - Built in 1882, expanded in 1897, in 1969 the school was closed. 1989 renovation; 2017-2018 further renovation and conversion to the cultural center.
