Tornesch (Germany) – Esinger Straße 106 – Residential building

Summary

[edit]
Description

English: Tornesch (Germany) – Esinger Straße 106 – Residential building

- The house was built in the Wilhelminian era on behalf of the builder Wilhelm Rode. The contractor and architect was probably J. Lienau, who also designed many houses in Friedrichstraße. Proven is the construction management of Lienau for an extension in 1921.

- It is a typical one-and-a-half-story building with lateral risalit and corner stiffening. Striking are the peculiar window-frames. The windows and the front door have been changed, as well as the roofing.
