[edit]DescriptionTornado ECR over Eielson AFB 2008.jpeg | Two German Luftwaffe (Air Force) Panavia Tornado ECR "Wild Weasel" aircraft (s/n 46+50, 46+41) fly over the Eielson Air Force Base flightline during the "Red Flag-Alaska 08-3" exercise on 9 June 2008. The Germans were participating in RF-A 08-3, a 10-day air combat training exercise held up to four times a year over Alaskan and Western Canadian airspace. The Tornado was from Jagdbombergeschwader 32 (JaboG 32) (32nd Fighter-Bomber Wing) at Lechfeld, Bavaria, Germany. Note that each Tornado is armed with an AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missile. |
