Deutsch: FMCW-Radar: geöffneter Topf- bzw. Leitungskreis mit Scheibentriode (GS13-1) :1 - Trimmer und Frequenzhub-Justage / trimmer for mid frequency and sweep English: Microwave cavity of a Russian military frequency modulation, continuous wave (FMCW) radar with cover removed. Inside the cavity is visible the top of the GS13-1 triode vacuum tube which generates the microwaves. It uses high frequency "lighthouse tube" construction; the contacts are in the form of cylindrical rings to reduce parasitic inductance and capacitance. Labeled parts:
1. A setscrew that functions as a "trimmer" capacitor with which the frequency can be adjusted. |
