Description
English: Two ancient Roman dodecahedrons, photographed at the temporary exhibition Top or Topic in Centre Céramique in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The larger one (height: 8.1 cm) was found in 1939 around Leopoldswal in Tongeren, Belgium (the Roman city of Atuatuca Tungrorum). The 20 corners are decorated with separately attached dots of which 4 are missing. Collection of Gallo-Romeins Museum, Tongeren. The smaller one (height: ca 4.5 cm) was discovered in a grave in Bassenge, near Tongeren. Collection of the Grand Curtius, Liège.
