Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Top of Nob End Locks, Manchester Bolton and Bury Canal Nob End Locks consisted of two staircases of three locks each, separated by a pound where boats cound pass each other. The site of the locks as can be seen, is (or was in 1992) heavily overgrown. I found the area well populated with our warty friend, the common toad.
