Description
English: Toom DIY store in Doehlen (Freital). 1958—2002 site of the sorting facility of „Factory 93”, a small uranium processing plant (1949—1960) of the Soviet-owned Wismut AG. View of the Osterberg in the background.
Deutsch: Der Toom Baumarkt in Freital-Döhlen mit Parkplatz (ab 2002). Hier befand sich die Erzsortieranlage (1958—2002) der Uranaufbereitungsfabrik 93 (1949—1960) der Wismut AG. Die im Vordergrund verlaufende Straße ist die Hüttenstraße, die ab 1998 als Umgehungsstraße für Freital ausgebaut wurde. Das Bild wurde von der Schachtstraße aus aufgenommen, die sich wenige Meter später mit der Hüttenstraße kreuzt. Im Hintergrund sind der Schornstein des Glaswerks Freital und der Osterberg zu erkennen.
