English: At this informal meeting dedicated to the intergovernmental conference, the Heads of State and Government have confirmed their will to end this conference during the European Council of Amsterdam. The discussions have been mainly on institutional questions, particularly the role and composition of the EC, as well as on employment and social policy, on CFSP, and on cooperation in the area of justice and home affairs.
