| Description | Tony Alamo Christian Church, headquarters of Tony Alamo Christian Ministries, formerly an independent retail establishment known as Big Stop Grocery, bisected by the north city limit of Fouke, Arkansas, between U.S. Route 71 (foreground) and the compound behind the church building, wherein reside Tony Alamo and his followers. Idling in the foreground is a red Chevrolet pickup truck, operated by one of several armed employees of R.G. & Associates Security (an independent contractor of Alamo Ministries since September 2006). Another vehicle, a black sport utility vehicle situated off to the left side of this photograph, pursued the shitless photographer northbound on US 71 for approximately nine miles. |
