Description |
Italiano: Il tonografo è costituito da un tubo in ottone montato su una base in legno di forma rettangolare e da un rullo di legno, parallelo al tubo, provvisto di scale graduate e numerate. Il tubo presenta l'estremità sinistra chiusa, mentre sul lato destro si trova un'imboccatura in legno tornito. All'interno del tubo si muove uno stantuffo, al quale è connessa un'asta ricurva uscente dal lato sinistro del tubo. Una barra in ottone dotata di un indicatore è attaccata all'estremità ricurva dell'asta in modo tale che il movimento dello stantuffo comporti lo spostamento dell'indicatore lungo la scala graduata del rullo di legno.
Riproduzione di suoni
Collegare un mantice all'imboccatura del tubo e soffiare aria all'interno del tubo. Spostanto lo stantuffo, si modifica il percorso dell'aria all'interno del tubo e si varia di conseguenza l'intonazione del suono prodotto Attraverso l'indicatore sulla barra è possibile associare ad ogni posizione dello stantuffo un corrispondente numero sulla scala numerata.
