English: Toms Hill The road on the left of the image has climbed up from the picturesque village of Aldbury and is here about to sweep around a hairpin bend. The trees are the edge of Ashridge Forest which is owned by the National Trust. A close-up of the sunlit trees taken from a slightly different angle can be seen here 81096
Both these photographs were taken from the track that leads off from this hairpin bend to Toms Hill House and associated buildings home of Chiltern Hills Watercoolers, see http://www.chilternhills.co.uk/index.asp |
