[edit]DescriptionTombstoneFolFamilyGrave-TempleOfVandoeuvres RomanDeckert06022022.jpg |
English: The tombstone from the family grave of Isaac Fol (1765-1834) on the exterior wall of the protestant temple of Vandœuvres, which is based on older church buildings. The oldest one dates back to an early Christian place of worship from the 5th century. The church and the surrounding area were used as a cemetery until the 19th century. Fol followed his wife Jeanne-Louise Pouzait (1863-1809) into the grave as well as two of their children: Antoine-Jacques-Louis (1792-1824) and Antoine-Louis (1801-1815).
