Description A tomb of some official of State of Jaipur during the British India. Situated near the Mokshadham, Nagpur, it is almost in a neglected condition with almost no care. The epitaph there reads: "Erected by Babu Isanchandra Mukerjee, Member of the Jaipur State Counsil, in the memory of his Late father Rao Bahadur Kanti Chunder Mukerjee, C.I.E., Minister of His Highness, the Maharaja of Jaipur, who died here on 15th January 1901 at the age of 67 while serving the Imperial Government as a member of famine comission. To quote the Viceroy Lord Curzon -- He terminated his life as he had lived it in work of public usefulness and will be remembered in Jaipur and elsewhere as representing the finest type of public servant." I really wanted to know about this tomb for long, so just took out time today to visit there and take a picture. I asked a hawker there about the tomb and he directed me to the epitaph. I asked him if anyone ever visits here, he said a few people from Jaipur come there every year on his anniversary.
