فارسی: اردشیر سوم (هخامنشی)

)، یازدهمین پادشاه هخامنشی پسر اردشیر دوم و استاتیرا همسر او بود.

وی پس از اینکه به تخت نشست، خود را در سنگ‌نبشته "پارسه" تخت جمشید "ارتَ خْشثَر" یا اردشیر نامید. نویسندگان یونانی، نام او را "آرتازرکسیز" یا "آرتازرکسیس" نوشته‌اند. پادشاهی اردشیر سوم، تماماً صرف خوابانیدن شورش‌ها، در ممالک تابعه گردید.

در سال ۳۴۲ پیش از میلاد در دوران اردشیر سوم مصر باز پس گرفته می‌شود و به خاک ایران ملحق می‌شود. این فتح پس از چندین حمله در دهه گذشته، نصیب امپراتوری هخامنشی گردید.
