Description
English: Looking west from Fourth Street to a crowd of people on the northwest corner of Fourth and Olive Streets surrounding a miniature carriage pulled by two ponies. Daguerreotype is inscribed "Gen. Tom Thumb In St. Louis" along its bottom edge. A few other horses and carriages are on the streets in front of commercial buildings.
