Summary
[edit]DescriptionToll Creagach summit furniture - geograph.org.uk - 1550592.jpg |
English: Toll Creagach summit furniture The trig. point on Toll Creagach is situated on the cliff edge of the northern corrie, where it would have given surveyors a better view than from the summit, where the cairn has been built. This was my final summit of a three-day Loch Mullardoch round, taking in twelve Munros. Looking back on this photo, I am surprised at the compactness of that rucksack - I must have eaten everything by this stage. From this point back to the road in deteriorating weather was a bog flog of the more heinous Scottish variety, a marked contrast with the glorious sunny ridge walking of most of the trip. Behind the trig. point is Tom a'Chòinich, higher by almost 60m and thus big enough to hide the other peaks of the walk. |
