Description

Charles F. Mensing captured this view of Toledo's Old Union Station in approximately 1920. This gabled gothic style railroad station was built in 1886. It caught fire in 1930 and eventually was replaced in 1950. At the time of this photo the location of the station was known as the intersection of Emerald Avenue and Knapp Street.
