Español: La primera teniente de alcalde, Marta Higueras, se encargará esta tarde -en la plaza Sagrados Corazones- de dar la salida a la 53 edición de la carrera San Silvestre Vallecana. La que es considerada la mejor carrera del mundo de 10 kilómetros volverá a celebrarse el 31 de diciembre, en esta ocasión, con 42.000 personas inscritas. La prueba cerrará el calendario deportivo madrileño con 40.000 participantes en la carrera popular y 2.000 en la internacional. Ambas concluirán en el distrito de Puente de Vallecas: la popular en la calle Candilejas y la internacional el estadio Teresa Rivero, donde Francisco Pérez, concejal de Puente de Vallecas, hará entrega de los premios a los vencedores, acto que ya es típico de este clásico. |
