Description
English: A photo of the original California Bear Flag hanging at San Francisco Solano (also called Mission Sonoma) around 1890. This flag was the basis for the modern day California State Flag. The Bear Flag was first raised in Sonoma, CA, during the Bear Flag Revolt of June 1846.
