English: To the Beach Signpost at Cliff End giving directions from access down the cliff to the beach straight ahead. The footpath once continued straight ahead down the cliff side but erosion has caused a diversion. The beach at Cuckmere Haven has been built up to protect the land beyond. The Coastguard Cottages can be seen at the foot of South Hill on the far side of the river mouth. |
