Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Radar image of Titan surface by Cassini. 128 pix/deg (2.85 pix/km), image width - about 635 km. Part of radar strip T3 (February 15, 2005). The big circular geature is Menrva crater, bright rivers at right - beginnings of Elivagar Flumina (look a map with names). Radar illumination is from above (perpendicular to the strip) with incidence angle of 21 deg. (see Lorenz R. D., Wood C. A., Lunine J. I., Wall S. D., Lopes R. M., Mitchell K. L., Paganelli F., Anderson Y. Z., Stofan E. R. and the Cassini RADAR Team (2007). "Titan impact craters — Cassini RADAR results and insights on target properties". Workshop on Impact Cratering II.) The image was cropped, rotated on 9.5 deg counterclockwise (to make north on the top) and it's contrast was increased.
