Summary
[edit]DescriptionTissusVietnam 0340.JPG |
English: Subject to verification, it is old product and fabric embroidered with traditional motifs by the Hmong (an ethnic group called "minority" in Vietnam ; also present in several neighboring countries). This fabric is a large "panel" is an assembly of relatively thick piece of cotton fabric and stained blue indigo. Y elements are integrated cotton thinner and lighter colored and decorated by the technique of batik wax (natural indigo dye). The geometric patterns are embroidered cross stitch directly on the tissue most magnified. linear strips are made of a colored cotton fabric cut and sewn end in "applied" on fine cotton. Note: In some cases, the decorative "cross stitch" can be directly superimposed on the pattern of batik cotton (and also weakening it). |
