English: Tissington School. Very much a school of a large, wealthy estate. Pevsner ignores it, but from the strange mixture of styles and the ventilator on the roof it could be of the late 19C.
This building featured as the Grimpen Post Office in the tv movie "The Hound of the Baskervilles" (1988), starring Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. |
