[edit]A score for Tippecanoe and Tyler too (or possibly a variation on the original score) copyrighted and published by one G. E. Blake of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1840. The song was written by another man, Alexander Coffman Ross, to a common minstrel tune; Ross did not copyright it.
