Jim MacMillan Tina Rosenberg Kathryn Thier For years audiences have complained that problem-oriented news turns them off. Younger audiences say the same thing, but also that solutions-oriented news would draw them in. At the same time, many journalists want their stories to “make a difference” in a different way than the journalism they grew up with. So, could solutions journalism be a solution? Organized in collaboration with the Agora Journalism Center - School of Journalism & Communication (University of Oregon), an initiative supported by funding from the John S. and James L. Il pubblico più giovane sostiene la stessa cosa, ma anche di essere interessato ad un'informazione che fornisce soluzioni concrete. Allo stesso tempo, molti giornalisti vogliono che le loro storie "facciano la differenza" in un modo diverso da quello del giornalismo con il quale sono cresciuti. Alla luce di tutto questo, il giornalismo costruttivo potrebbe essere una soluzione?
