Summary
[edit]DescriptionTime stands still in Nenthead - geograph.org.uk - 1204945.jpg |
English: Time stands still in Nenthead The stone clockface is on Isaac's Tea Trail along Dykeheads road on the approach to Nenthead. The clock face is from the old market hall in Nenthead, where the clock tower had four faces facing north, east, south and west. This meant the time could be seen from anywhere in Nenthead. The market hall and clock tower were taken down over a hundred years ago and the other faces of the clock have since disappeared to leave only one clock face. |
